We would like to thank everyone who donated to make the Holiday Meal Project a success again this year.

 

We raised enough money to provide 200 local families a complete Thanksgiving dinner as well as an additional 250 families a Christmas dinner. PARS also provided twenty $50 food certificates to the families participating in the “Shop With A Cop” program which is sponsored by the police department. We couldn’t have done it without your help!

 

PARS would also like to thank Lynn’s Dakotamart. They provided the food at a great price which allowed us to offer an expanded menu while keeping the price of the meals the same as last year. Families reported that this was the best package ever…good variety and great produce!

 

Feeding South Dakota also needs to be recognized for hauling the food from Lynn’s to the Food Bank and storing it until we were ready to fill the holiday boxes and distribute them. 

 

And of course I would be remiss for not thanking the many volunteers who helped fill the holiday boxes as well as those that helped deliver the meals. Thank you, we really appreciated the time and energy you put in to make the program a success again this year.
